About Me

Welcome to my personal academic website!

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Yip Lab at Columbia University's Department of Earth and Environmental Engineering. Prior to graduate school, I received my B.S. in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Princeton University and worked for 5 years as an engineer at ExxonMobil.

I am interested in emerging technologies at the energy-water-environment nexus. My current research focuses on the use of switchable solvents, i.e., compounds that can reversibly change their physical properties in response to external stimuli, for hypersaline desalination and zero liquid discharge applications.
